For this reason, Urban Recovery offers flexible lengths of stay and customized residential care to meet our clients where they are instead of forcing them into a model of treatment dictated by an insurance company. These offerings range from a detoxification protocol, to our 10 day assessment program, to 30, 45, 60, or 90 days of treatment.
As a client in treatment, you will soon find that no two clients will be alike in their length of stay or treatment protocols. One may be in treatment for detox only, while another may be entering their second month, while still another comes and goes from treatment to perform work related duties or is following clinical plan that has them reintegrating in their life in Manhattan, Connecticut or even London.
You will find that your bespoke recovery program will vary from client to client each and every day and will consist of a menu of empirically proven clinical interventions that include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD and trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for thought distortions, anxiety and depression, Motivational Interviewing (MI) to gain insights into ones condition and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to ground a client on a recovery tract that resonates with who they are in the world.
In addition, you will be provided time during the day to attend to your physical health though sessions with a private trainer, yoga, meditation and the finest in healthy and interesting cuisine. Finally, clients are afforded ample opportunities to partake in recovery related activities into the New York City cultural and business communities.
